Captain Z. T. Adams' Battery

The 24-25 November meeting is a MAX EFFORT training camp at John’s Farm. We can arrive Saturday afternoon, setting camp and will train on Sunday for certifying at Goldsboro. There will be a fish fry on Sat night around 5:00pm. As usual the families are invited and we will have burgers and dogs for those who don’t like fish. Bring ice and your own beverage, remembering that we will be firing on Sunday. We are buying the fish so we need to know as soon as possible who is and is not coming. We will ante up to pay for the fish when we get there.

Getting there: Take Hwy 421north Turn left onto Shiloh Rd by the big brick church. After crossing a bridge and going up a hill, and around a very sharp curve. Turn left onto Tuckahoe Rd, go down this road, cross another bridge and go around a curve just past the bridge and at the top of the small rise is a dirt road leading into the woods. Turn left onto this dirt road/path and you'll wind up at the farm-providing the cable at the creek is unlocked!
